Trip to Villa Foscari, Villa Emo and Villa Giustinian

8.30 am – 6 pm
Join us on a trip from Venice towards the Veneto countryside to discover the glorious traces of renaissance in the noblemen's summer retreats in the Venice and mainland.
The program includes:
-visit to Villa Foscari “La Malcontenta”, one of the masterpieces of Palladio, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site
-visit to Villa Emo, a Venetian villa built near Fanzolo, in Vedelago, by the architect Andrea Palladio.
-visit to Villa Giustinian, Roncade castle, Venetian villa of Roncade.
The cost of the visit is 20 euros per person
(includes transportation and entrance tickets)
The visit is compulsory for students of the course F2104 Art and Architecture in Renaissance Venice for whom the costs will be covered by VIU.
To participate please sign the list at the Front Office and bring the ticket amount (if due). Also F2104 students are required to book their place.

8.30: Private bus departing from Tronchetto bus park (behind the People Mover)
9.20/30: Arrival to Villa Giustinian
11.00: Departure
11.45: Arrival to Villa Emo
12.45-14.00: Lunch Break
14.15: departure
15:15: Arrival to Villa Foscari
17:15 Departure to Venice Tronchetto (arrival time 17.45 approx.)
