VIU is a non-profit association and does not take any fee or commission for supporting students in organizing the accommodation in the city of Venice.

The residential facilities on the island of San Servolo are managed by a services company, independent from VIU, called San Servolo Servizi Metropolitani.

Students requesting accommodation on campus will have to sign an agreement with the service company San Servolo Servizi Metropolitani and upload a copy in this form. The agreement has been sent via email by Globalization Program staff.

Accommodation dates 

Check in: Sunday August 3
Check out: Sunday August 31

Cost of accommodation
The cost for the entire stay amounts to:

• € 330  in a shared 3-4 rooms (per person)
• € 395 in a shared double room (per person)
• € 550  in a single room (single bed)

Meals are not included. This sum is not refundable. 

In the shared accommodation, nationalities are mixed in order to create a multicultural community. 

The students will have the use of a common room with a microwave and refrigerator. 
There is also a cafè bar on the island. Discounts will be available to VIU students on presentation of the VIU student card.

Deposit 
A security deposit of 200€ in cash will be requested by San Servolo Servizi on arrival. The security deposit will be returned only after the status of the room is checked: please inform the Reception at least 3 days before departure so that they can check the room status. 

Check-in
The Check-in is available after 1 pm.

Check out
The check-out is available until 11 am.

For any check out before August 31, you must inform the reception at least 3 days in advance. 

To confirm your place we request the payment of the sum of 330 euros by June 17.

The remaining sum (if any) to cover the cost of the assigned typology of room must be paid in a second installment by June 27, 2025.
