Come with us and discover the amazing and varied landscapes of the Venice Lagoon!
During the trip we will visit:
_the port of Venice and Porto Marghera industrial area;
_the Malamocco inlet and the Mose project installations;
_the Museum of the Lagoon on Pellestrina Island;
_Murazzi, the sea walls built by the Republic of Venice to protect the city from the sea.
Return by 4 pm (approx.) in San Zaccaria.
N.B. The visit is compulsory for students enrolled in:
F2501 History of Venice
F2515 Water Heritage and Sustainable Development
for them the costs will be covered by VIU.
Extra places are available for other students and professors interested.
Extra participants: 10 euro/person including transportation & entrance tickets.
To confirm your participation, please register for this activity at the Front Office by October 15, 2025 at noon.
Bring your own packed lunch, since the lunch break will be a picnic in Pellestrina or on the beach.
