SUSPORT | @ Trieste for the Final Conference

SUSPORT final conference was held in Trieste on June 21st 2023.

Ports are crossroads of goods and people, as well as source of prosperity for their territories, key to their economic development and job creation. Yet, like all other human activities, they can be source of nuisances at local – air pollution, noise, congestion – and global level – CO2 emissions.

DISCO | Kick-off Meeting

The DISCO project Kick-off meeting was held in Brussels on May 16-17, 2023.

DISCO is the acronym for: Data-driven, Integrated, Syncromodal, Collaborative and Optimized urban freight meta model for a new generation of urban logistics and planning with data sharing at European Living Lab.

DISCO develops a European urban freight data-space as data-sharing on digital urban logistics solutions, providing smart tools for decision making with replicable Use Cases that are built to code transformation of urban planning and land use by an open and collaborative data-space developing smart governance model.

 

SPROUT | two new e-courses on policy available

In the framework of SPROUT, two new e-learning courses were launched:
_Sprout early policy alert and action tracking;
_Policy design, coalition and governance.

NUA Campus is a Capacity building platform of the Urban Living Labs Centre for the transformation of urban mobility, energy, and resource sectors and hosts the e-courses developed within the SPROUT Project.

SPROUT | results brochure

SPROUT results brochure presents project results and promotes the most relevant policy planning exercises and tools developed throughout the project. The goal is to provide an overview which provides the key findings and links to more comprehensive results. The brochure provides resources demonstrating the process, progress and results of the project, which can be used towards future city-led innovation initiatives of cities and the sustainable urban mobility community.

SPROUT | Newsletter 6

This sixth and final SPROUT newsletter presents the outcomes of four years of work from the SPROUT partners. You will find the SPROUT toolbox, a website that provides a step-by-step guidance for cities to follow the SPROUT approach to test and respond to innovative mobility solutions, and the SPROUT e-learning courses, created with the aim of supporting cities in their policy-making capacities. You will read about our final conference in Brussels and much more! 

SUSPORT | @ Transport Logistics Fair in Munich

SUSPORT will attend the Transport Logistics Fair in Munich on 8th-12th May 2023 

Advances in research and developments are driving ahead the logistics and freight transport business. Universities and colleges are working closely together with the companies in this field. The leading research establishments and institutes that are involved in freight transport systems present their work in the section on “Research and development”.

SUSPORT | @ LET EXPO 2023

SUSPORT will attend the LET Expo on 8-11 March 2023 at Verona Fiere, Italy.
Four days of business, B2B meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, labs, demos, sustainable transportation and logistics are protagonist in this extraordinary trade fair. The fair promotes a new green sensitivity related to the worlds of logistics, business, 360° services, professions and training.
Organized by ALIS Service in collaboration with Verona Fiere and promoted by ALIS, LET Expo is the main event for Italian and international key players.

SPROUT | e-course on policy design, coalition, governance

The purpose of this course is to learn more about the role of cities in the urban mobility transition. The course introduces the concept of the urban mobility transition, explores the methods of pilot projects and living labs as strategies to navigate the mobility transition and provides first-hand insights into the policy responses of SPROUT cities dealing with innovative mobility solutions.

DISCO Project | Data-driven, Integrated, Syncromodal, Collaborative and Optimized Urban Freight Meta Model

DISCO develops and demonstrates a federated European urban freight data space as data sharing on digital urban logistics solutions and smart tools for decision making. It will be a continental Ten-T (Trans-European Transport Network) with replicable Use Cases, built upon drivers to code transformation of urban planning and land use by an open and collaborative Data Space with a smart governance model.

VIU_TeDIS is one of the partners of the DISCO project financed by the Horizon Europe Program.

SPROUT | Final Conference

The SPROUT final conference "understanding the transition in urban mobility to navigate future policy" will be held in Brussels on February 17th, 2023.

In this final conference, SPROUT partners will present the project outcomes that will help cities to understand the transition in urban mobility and adequately plan policies to harness the impact of emerging mobility solutions.
