Advanced Training

TEN manages since 2003 two major training programs on environmental management and sustainable development:

  • the Sino-Italian Advanced Training Program on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, offering training courses on key topics of Environmental Management to foster the promotion of Sustainable Development among decision makers, civil servants and researchers of the People's Republic of China. The Program is developed within the Sino-Italian Cooperation Program for Environmental Protection (SICP) of the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea;
  • the Course for Sustainability, promoting regional courses on sustainable development for countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Black Sea area. The Course, funded by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, is organized in cooperation with the Regional Environmental Center (REC).

    The two programs share the common goal of training decision-makers from a variety of institutions of the targeted countries on the different aspects of Sustainable Development. The exchange of knowledge and experience for the promotion of new partnerships among the institutions and the regions involved is a wider objective of the programs.

    Thanks to its network of experts and to the experience developed in the years, TEN is running a series of other training activities involving different countries and institutions:

    • Short Training on Design Management and Green Design for Chinese professionals
