Tea2B | Cities and Identity

Students and professors will come together for an informal chat about cities and how it shapes their identities. This will be a special event because we will be welcoming more Tsinghua University students just arrived from China last week.

Night Visit to St. Mark Basilica
Wednesday, April 6, visit at 7.30 pm
The activity is compulsory for students enrolled in S2204 Art and Architecture in Renaissance Venice, S2220 Urban Quality of Life in Global PerspectiveS2227 Imperiled Cities In Comparative Perspective.
The visit is open to all VIU students and faculty, up to 50 people, and the cost (for those not included in the courses mentioned) is 7 euro/person
To confirm your participation, please sign the roster and pay the fee (if due) at the Front Office before Friday, April 1 at 12 pm. First-come first-served basis.
Also S2220 and S2227 students are required to confirm their place.

Boat trip to the Southern Venice Lagoon
Friday, April 15, all day (9am-5pm approx)
The activity is compulsory for students enrolled in S2201 History of VeniceS2211 Globalization, Environment and Sustainable DevelopmentS2220 Urban Quality of Life in Global PerspectiveS2227 Imperiled Cities In Comparative Perspective, S2229 Eco Media.
The visit is open to all VIU students and faculty, and the cost (for those not included in the courses mentioned) is 10 euro/person
To participate, sign up the list and pay the fee (if due) at the Front Office before Tuesday, April 5 at 12 pm.

Visit to Biennale Exhibition and Biennale Pass
Friday, April 29, visit time TBD
The activity is compulsory and free for students enrolled in S2201 History of Venice.
The visit is open to all VIU students and faculty, buying a special 3-day pass for visiting the two seats of the Venice Biennale Exhibition. The pass costs 20 euro per person and allows 3 entrances (even on non-consecutive days) to the Giardini and Arsenale venues.
All students and professors (even if not interested in the guided visit) can buy a pass, just signing the list at the Front Office and bringing the ticket amount by Friday, April 15 at 12 pm.
The pass is nominal and will be available to pick up after the midterm break.
