TeDIS Program on Innovation

@lfa was a project co-financed by theEuropean Commission-Europe Aid Cooperation Office; an Exchange Program between Universities of the European Union and Latin America for building a research community for local economic development.

The Italian Ceramic Association and Tedis carried out a research on strategic "go-to-market" marketing in the ceramics sector.
The research consist of a strategic analysis of the "go-to-market roadmap" of the ceramic sector for a reading of the criticalities and opportunities present on today's markets and to implement actions and synergies to better address the crisis, in particular in the following contexts:
- "go-to-market" model of the craft sub-sector,
- model of actions and implementation of opportunities and operational synergies between the various subsectors,
- analysis of problems related to counterfeiting and unfair competition.

ARPAV appointed VIU_TeDIS as scientific and academic partner to support its strategies of the development of the Information System according to the so-called Guidelines “Linee Guida dalla Società dell’Informazione 2007-2010”.

A strategic plan was defined with the following objectives:
definition of the triennal strategic plan (2008/2010); definition of the annual plan; monitoring and updating of both plans according to the operative actions carried on; analysis and research of case studies, trends, benchmarking with other institution to better orient the ARPAV strategic decision to take; development and definition of  the governance model; diffusion of results; support of pilot projects and innovative actions; fund raising at a national and international level; monitoring of European call for applications.

Training and consultancy project addressed to theentrepreneurs community of the Cacak Area of Serbia
The project aimed at activating institutional and consultant aid oriented to the Serbian private sector through the cooperation between North-Eastern Italy and the Serbian Cacak area.

Citizens iTV was an experimental project focused on the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) as a potential and powerful new channel to deliver public contents and interactive services from local public bodies to citizens and companies.

The lead partner was Veneto Region- Informatics Systems Office, who commissioned the fulfilment of the project to TeDIS.
The project was part of the Regional Programme for Innovative Actions (PRAI), financed by the European Community fund FESR.

Focus
Creativity, design, and innovation are central to maintaining the competitiveness of Italian firms in the global economy. - Showcase Made in Italy excellence through the integration of heritage skills and advanced technologies.
-  Build collaborative networks among artisans, designers, and technologists to create innovative products and business models.

Creativity and "Made in Italy" sector
The integration of craftsmanship and industrial production marks a key step for the knowledge economy. Creativity today is recognized not only as a dimension of thought but as a practical activity: “doing” is a way of thinking. Italian companies that successfully combine management skills with spaces for imagination and hands-on creation are more innovative and competitive, particularly in Made in Italy sectors. Industrial capacity for customization, supported by traditional know-how and Industry 4.0 technologies, represents a core competitive advantage and a driver of national growth.

IFIS bank appointed TeDIS to implement a communication plan on digital workshops in order to show how traditional Italian companies of Made in Italy has had the capacity to transform theirselves in companies confronting the global economic challenges thanks to the new technologies of the digital manufacturing.

DISCO has been showcased at the TRA 2026 in Budapest (18-21May) at the ALICE Innovation Village

The DISCO Knowledge Hub is an open-source digital platform designed to serve as a collaborative online space for stakeholders in the field of urban logistics and sustainable mobility. It offers a range of resources, tools, and opportunities for  knowledge sharing, capacity building, innovation, and collaboration within this domain.

The DISCO Knowledge Hub aims to be the go-to place for stakeholders, to empower them with the tools, information, and connections needed to drive positive change and innovation in urban logistics and mobility.

The vision is to build a dynamic and comprehensive online collaboration platform that serves as a central focal point for urban logistics and sustainable mobility stakeholders.

DISCO develops and demonstrates a federated European urban freight data space as data sharing on digital urban logistics solutions and smart tools for decision making. It will be a continental Ten-T (Trans-European Transport Network) with replicable Use Cases, built upon drivers to code transformation of urban planning and land use by an open and collaborative Data Space with a smart governance model.

VIU_TeDIS is one of the partners of the DISCO project financed by the Horizon Europe Program.

DISCO is the acronym for: Data-driven, Integrated, Syncromodal, Collaborative and Optimized urban freight meta model for a new generation of urban logistics and planning with data sharing at European Living Lab.
